Mummy is doing her confinement at home this time and she has gotten Baozhen auntie to help out. I like auntie alot, cos she will play with me and cook lots of nice food. Although auntie has went back home, I still miss her alot.

Birthday Party for Nov Babies

Today the Mothers from the Singaporemotherhood forum are organising a birthday party for all the Nov babies. We are holding it at one of the mother's condo function room (The Four Season @ Yio Chu Kang). We have ordered the buffet from Neo Garden and cake from Prima Deli.

It has been a long time since we last seen all the babies. All have grown up alot, and some was even able to walk unsupported.

Avril is still very scare of strangers. She cling on us for almost the whole function. The moment we put her down trying to get her mix with the others babies, she will cry.

Arrival of Tooth Fairy

Finally the tooth fairy is here! Its confirmed! There is 2 lower tiny little teeth sprouting out of Avril's gums. Will get a chance to take a pic and show you all.

Teething Woes (2)

I can see two teeth coming out already (below) but these few days/nites have been shocky!! I guess it must be really painful as Avril is having fever and will cry out with tear out of no reason. She is normally not like that. And at night, she will wake up a few times crying hysterically. Poor gal. Hope the teeth will all come out overnite!

Mummy is anxious about how late the teeth is coming. All the babies in the mother's group are already having teeth popping out. I check on her gums yesterday and saw 2 very very faint white lines on her lower gums. Think they are really coming out soon these few days!!!

Avril is 6mths already and she is beginning to sit more steadily on her own. Sometimes when she lose her balance, she fall back and start to laugh.

Went for the 1st 5-in-1 and Rotar jab today and Avril didnt shed a tear! The jab went in and she just got a bit stunned. She developed fever of 38.4 degree celsius in the nite and lost appetite for 2 days. She also have diarrhoea due to the Rotarix jab. Due to the diarrhoea, Dr Ang is putting on hold the next Rotarix jab.

I caught the cold bug from my cousin, my nose kept running and I'm also having a painful throat. Didn't wanna drink my milk and made Mummy & Daddy so worried. In the end, Mummy bought me to see Dr Koey & Mrs Wong. Dr Koey prescribed some medicine for my nose & indigestion. Mrs Wong taught Mummy a method to feed me. And clever Mommy, she learnt it very fast.

I love to sit in this 'OSIM' bouncer which was bought by Daddy. The birdie look like it's flying when the hanging toys is being pulled. And there is also a calming vibrations for soothing. Look at me, I'm enjoying the vibrations now.

Sleeping in Cradle

I'm a light sleeper, can't sleep well on the bed. 'Heng' Ah Ma came to my rescue. She suggested Mummy to let me sleep in the cradle. Look at me, sleeping contented in the cradle.

1st Checkup (15 December 2006)

Today we brought Avril back to TMC for her first checkup. Avril has put on weight and now weighing 4.41kg with lenght 56cm and head circumference of 38cm. She is within her healthy weight/height range.

Dr examine Avril and told us that she got stomach upset and lots of wind. Due to her diarrhoea, we have to put her on soy milk. Few days later, her poo poo is back to normal. She starts on her new formula milk, Dumex.

Yay! I'm 1 month old already.

Today Mummy arrange someone to trim my hair to make the Tai Mo Bi. Haiz...., why make Mo Bi? For what? I hate to cut my hair. Poor Ah Ma, she had a hard time carrying me cos I was struggling and crying verr...ry badly. Pacifier also cannot 'hong' me. Whole process took an hour to finish.

Jaundice

Look at me! So YELLOW on my 8th day. I was found with jaundice level high up to 19.5. No choice liao, have to stay 2 days in hospital for suntanning. Poor Mummy and Daddy, they were so worried about me.

After 2 days of tanning, jaundice level finally drop to 9.7. Yahoo..., can go back to Ah Ma house liao.

Finally back at home. Me smiling happily and sleeping on my favourite left side.

Today is my day 2 in this world. Why wrap me like a 'mummy'! But I like it, hee hee....

Many uncles and aunties visited me today and bought me lots of clothing. I also received Robinson Voucher from Mummy's colleagues.

Hi uncles/aunties, I'm Baby Avril. So, little bits of me first, this is after all, about Me, Myself, and I.

Born on the 13th November 2006, poor Mummy had to endure 14hrs in the labour ward at Thomson MC before I finally decided to give her a break. Weighing 3.57kg with length 51cm and head circumference 35cm, the first words I heard was from the doctor, "No wonder la, its a huuge baby". Haha, gd eat gd sleep mah.. Slowly slowly, I managed to open my eyes. I could see Mummy and Daddy so tired.

That's Mummy being push back to her ward, and me to join my 'choir' members in the nursery.
